Just an idea for a flyer design i had..

Hey guys sorry bin away over weekend.. and internets been playing up again :/
uploaded some more logos. josh wanted to see the pink and brown, that were originall from the colourways from before. Uploaded some more without the gradients. Personally i think the ones with the gradients look more appealing, fresh and better to aim at our target audience, also they looka bit more interesting :)

i took some advice on colour ways and keeping it to a minimum, josh wanted a blocky colour and i stayed with a nice teal blue and bits of pink :)
where would the info fit nicely??

new flyer

right i took joshs comment on the first flyer design and kept the image as a focus. i took a different approach and see what i could make, and used the new designed logo. i didnt want to image to end so i kept the silhouette theme running but in a more subtle way. needs more work but tell me what you think x

flyer whey!

refreshed flyer

right i wanted my idea of the flyer to be refreshed so went browsing and came across this :



a cd cover to tha band wild beasts from little old sheffield. i really like the layout and found potential in it so.. with the photos i got and with added extras i produced something on photoshop. comments please?

the meeting

right what i got from the meeting was mmm good, keep the black and white, add text and the almighty logo and maybe encorporate silhouttes.
something like the ipod posters and heres my rough sketch of what i think it might look like.

Saw these designs in a book ive just got. Thought we could do this for our flyer? Like Nottinghams tree with buildings, students and lots of nice things encoporated into it, showing theres a lot goin on aswell, and the idea of the tree being the idea of connecting and communication?
